How does your Power BI helpdesk work?
There are two ways you can raise an issue with our Power BI support services: through the portal login that we give every support customer, or with an email our support team.
We have two types of ticket: “issue” and “enhancement”. These tickets are classified by priority, from “minor” through “medium” and “severe” to “critical”.
When our Power BI support services team receives the ticket, you’ll get a confirmation email in response. This email will state the ticket reference and details of your service level agreement (SLA).
Next our Power BI support team will examine the issue and sometimes request extra details from you. Then we recreate the issue in a sandboxed environment for solution testing. Once the issue is resolved, you’ll be able to confirm the solution in user acceptance testing (UAT). Finally we’ll schedule the solution for release into the production (live) environment.
Can you provide Power BI managed services remotely?
Yes. How we do this depends on your particular business requirements and regulations. For support issues, we typically work in remote support sessions. However, we can also go through a designated user or log in through an existing account.
